How did you get interested in Music?
My musical influence came from my family. My father was a touring Motown drummer and my mother was a dancer and classical piano player. I thank my husband and the military for helping develop my country music career.
What would you say has most inspired you?
My Faith and patriotism. I was a Catholic school teacher for 6 years, and when it unfortunately closed I knew God had new plan for me.
What is the most fun thing you've ever done?
Performing at the NYC marathon for the 3 years has been amazing. It's actually quite emotional seeing hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world run in a marathon for charity. It is humbling.
What would you like to be doing five years from now?
Touring the world as a recording artist, performing overseas for deployed solders and owning my own rescue farm to help animals - while providing jobs for people in need.
